This wedding from last week was so full of love, laughter, lightheartedness, and joy, despite the crazy heat! Every detail of Kevin & Bethany's big day was planned beautifully and with care.
The incredible florals were created by Darby of Beyond the Briar and the girls had their makeup done by the talented Janice Moon Artistry. Throughout the day I was so grateful to have Anna Nelson of Anna Marie PhotoArt shooting with me and assisting!
The wedding took place on a family property that belongs to Bethany's parents and it was the perfect setting. Thankfully their home was well air-conditioned so we could take breaks from the heat between events, and the outside was so gorgeous that it was worth being hot. It really embodied everything I love about the forest of the Pacific Northwest.
Enjoy the images from this special day!
All of Bethany's details worked together so well, with touches of sparkle and glamour throughout.
How stunning are these rings? Bethany's band is amazing!
Kevin's details were simple but classic and timeless.
I adore these boutonnieres! The greenery in them is so unique, which is definitely a signature move for Darby of Beyond the Briar, who does a lot of gathering wild materials for her floral work.
This dress is simply magnificent! The beaded back and neckline added just the right amount of glam.
These girls were so happy for Bethany! I could tell her friend group was incredibly close knit and that each of them cared so much for each other.
Bethany & Kevin's first look was so adorable and sweet! Kevin made the cutest sound when he saw his bride and they were both so excited.
This stunning, oversized bouquet by Darby of Beyond the Briar was truly magnificent!
This bridal party was huge but so fun to photograph! There were some pretty hilarious personalities present.
Bethany's father did not see his daughter enter the room for her first look with him and she had to announce her presence before he noticed! He was so happy for her and thought she looked lovely.
It's pretty fantastic that Bethany's parents' property had a backdrop this lovely for their wedding!
Hooray for the first kiss as a married couple!
A large percentage of the guests who atteneded were family, as you can see from the huge family photos below. The Abblitts and the Worthingtons are both sweet, kind families and it was so fun to see them interact.
A special photo with Grandma is always so sweet!
After family photos Kevin, Bethany & I snuck away to do some beautiful sunset photos with the gorgeous light. There really isn't anything like the golden light of a summer's evening!
Cake cutting is always a fun part of any wedding! These two opted for a small cake decorated with blackberries and had cupcakes of many decadent varieties for their guests to eat.
These two bridesmaids couldn't have had more different personalities but both tag-teamed to announce events and keep the evening moving. It was awesome to see them work together and banter back and forth.
Kevin and Bethany stuly had a gorgeous love and you could plainly see the care they have for one another during their sweet first dance!
There wasn't a dry eye when it was time for Bethany's first dance with her father. It was such a wonderful moment, filled with memories, happiness for the future and also a little bit of bittersweetness.
